Pure Haven Essentials Review 2021: Is It A Scam? Learn The Truth

Written by: Nigel Ford

This is a Pure Haven Essentials review. You will learn here: what is Pure Haven Essentials, how does it work, what do they sell, their most popular products, mlm business opportunity and compensation plan. We will show you also couple customers reviews and complaints, tell you about prices, refund policy and recommend the best places to buy their products. At the end you will get all the pros and cons, so you can decide if this is a company you want to deal with. Keep reading!

Pure Haven Essentials reviews photo medium

Pure Haven Essentials is a company that offers a wide variety of products that cater to health and beauty.

They also offer their customers a chance to join their business by providing a multi-level marketing, or MLM opportunity.

A lot of people are skeptical about this type of business because there has been some bad media hype regarding it.

However, not all of these brands are out to rip off their members.

In fact, tons of them have helped people become quite successful.

What is Pure Haven Essentials?

Pure Haven Essentials Logo

Pure Haven Essentials didn’t always have this name.

It used to be called Ava Anderson.

However, the goal of the brand has always been the same: they’re a networking group that offers a wide variety of health, beauty, and skincare products.

Unfortunately Pure Haven Essentials has some less-than-ideal history surrounding them.

Ava Anderson, the original MLM, faced a serious scandal that led to their business falling apart.

So what does a failed company do when they want to keep selling stuff?

They re-brand.

This has been done quite a few times in the history of MLMs and is one of the reasons that people seem to have a bad opinion of this particular type of sales model.

After Ava Anderson had a serious confrontation with the USDA, they decided to pull some strings and change their name.

Behold: Pure Haven Essentials.

Pure Haven Essentials: What Do They Sell?

Pure Haven Essentials basically followed up the product line that Ava Anderson sold.

They have several lines of natural health products that utilize safe, wholesome ingredients.

This is partially because of the huge conflict that arose regarding Ava Anderson.

More on this later.

Nowadays, their slogan is “Safe. Effective. Trustworthy.” Contrary to what they used to be.

Regardless, they seem to be doing quite good selling an assortment of ‘essential’ items.

These include:

Skin essentials, body essentials, hair essentials, baby and kids’ ‘essentials, home essentials, men and women’s essentials, oil essentials, and face essentials.

Pure Haven Essentials Most Popular Products

Pure Haven Essentials offers quite a few different health and beauty products but some are more popular than others.

Their most popular things that they sell include:

The Master Blaster

Pure Haven Essentials The Master Blaster

This is an all purpose house cleaner that can be used on many different types of surfaces.

They claim that they do not use any unhealthy, toxic compounds, which makes this a better alternative to some of the unhealthy compounds that we often use to clean our homes.

Detangler

Pure Haven Essentials Detangler

Their chemical-free detangler is a great option for people who suffer from constant tangles in their hair.

Many people report that no matter how much conditioner they use, their hair always manages to get knotted up.

This detangler is a simple spray that contains all-natural ingredients.

You can spray it onto any type of hair and it should get rid of the tangles.

Geranium Lime Body Oil

Pure Haven Essentials Geranium Lime Body Oil

Their Geranium Lime Body Oil, as well as many of their other body oils, are a great way to condition your skin or to give a good massage.

Again, these products contain all-natural ingredients and is suitable for everyday use or for special occasions.

Does Pure Haven Essentials Work?

Before deciding to work with or buy things from Pure Haven, it’s important to understand the full history of them.

This means you will have to consider Ava Anderson’s history, since it’s the company that they grew from.

Ava Anderson, which also advertised healthy products for enhancing natural beauty, was investigated by the USDA.

They found a number of toxic chemicals and dangerous compounds in their items, despite the fact that they advertised their “products without harmful chemicals.”

They also advertised their oils as ‘organic,’ despite the fact that they didn’t fit the bill.

This directly violates the rules of the USDA.

After they were shut down they were rebranded within 3 weeks.

They shut down on January 26th, 2016, and were back in business on February 12th.

So the big question here is whether or not that’s enough time to actually change their product lines.

They do claim that their products are USDA certified.

It would make sense that this is true now, because they’ve already been investigated once by the USDA.

They were audited by Oregon Tilth Certified Organic, which have pretty intense certification procedures.

Pure Haven Essentials MLM Business Opportunity

Pure Haven offers members and customers the chance to take part in a MLM’ or a multi-level marketing business opportunity.

Many people jump at the sound of joining another MLM.

However, others are very skeptical and hesitant to take part in such a practice.

There is a lot of controversy surrounding this type of business, but in some cases they can be quite effective.

When structured like this, a multi-level business allows members to sell products for the company.

They can also recruit more members, who are then able to recruit more members, and so on.

The growing numbers of marketers constitutes the multi-levels in one sense.

In the other sense, MLM businesses allow you to increase in rank, or level, in the company.

The higher your rank, the more money and bonuses you can earn.

Pure Haven Essentials: The Compensation Plan

Pure Haven Essentials compensation plan

Just as with other similar businesses, there are a few ways that someone can make money with Pure Haven Essentials.

These are:

  • Making commission or earning bonuses from your own personal sale of Pure Haven products.
  • Downline commissions, meaning profit from the people that you hire to join the company.
  • Executive promotion advance bonuses.
  • Executive career path and compensation, for those who are truly dedicated to the company.

In general, you will earn between 30 and 50% of commission on things that you sell.

This depends on how much you sell overall.

  • People who sell less than $1,000 a month will only earn 30% commission.
  • People who earn between $1,000 and $2,000 will earn 35% commission.
  • People who earn between $2000 and $3000 will earn 40% commission.
  • People who earn between $3000 and 4000 will earn 45% commission.
  • People who make more than $4000 a month will make 50% commission.

In terms of downline commission, you will start out making 5% of the sales commission from your direct recruits.

As you recruit more people and increase in rank you will be able to earn more commission.

For example, when you’re level 1 you’ll only make 5%.

However, if you go beyond level 1 (considered a Star Level Consultant) and reach level two, a Double Star Level Consultant, you will get 7% of commission on your level 1 recruits and 3% on your level 2 (recruits that people you directly recruited have hired.)

Triple star consultants will get 5% on their level 2s, 3% on their level 3s, and 7% on their level 1s.

The final level is Executive Consultant and they will earn 2% commission on any recruit hired indirectly through them beyond level 3.

You will also get bonuses for ranking up.

When you hit Executive rank you will get you $500 and you will get another $500 anytime someone in your downline hits that rank.

Executive Career Path and Compensation are bonuses that allow you to earn more commission as you rank up through the executive path.

You can become a bronze, silver, gold, and diamond executive.

Is Pure Haven Essentials A Pyramid Scheme?

Many MLM businesses operate on a pyramid structure, and Pure Haven certainly milks this.

They are, however, a great business for people who are into this type of operating structure.

The pyramid scheme is a term that describes companies like these because they start at the top and continue to stretch out towards the bottom.

For example, the first person to join a MLM company would be considered a level 1 recruit.

They could then hire as many recruits as possible who would be considered level 2 recruits.

This continues to happen indefinitely and the brand will continue to grow and grow with new members recruiting more new members.

You can see how a pyramid is a good shape to describe this sort of business.

Pure Haven Essentials Reviews & Complaints

Pure Haven Essentials reviews

Most of Pure Haven products are only available on their website, and it looks like they filter out most of the negative reviews.

It’s possible to find reviews of the older parent company, Ava Anderson, on Amazon (despite the fact that they have gone out of business and been rebranded).

Reviews are generally not favorable, which makes sense considering Ava Anderson went under fire for selling toxic things to customers.

One review on their allegedly “Non-Toxic Dream Cream” says that they “hope nobody pays the price,” since you can get the same product “for 13.95 from Pure Haven essentials.”

Many people who work for the company as distributors have said that they’re having a good time.

One user was “glad that they rebranded,” and believes that “they have made significant improvements in their business.”

Others have not had such a good time, though. One user thought that it was “impossible to make money” with Pure Haven and that they “completely wasted my time.”

There are usually quite a few reviews that say similar things regarding these types of businesses.

Pure Haven Essentials Prices & Where To Buy

Pure Haven Essentials Official Website

The products that Pure Haven sells aren’t unreasonably priced.

  • You can get an exfoliator for $21.95 from one of the distributors.
  • You can get a set of 3 bars of natural soap for $19.95.
  • A bottle of glass cleaner will run you $16.95. This might seem expensive compared to some of the readily available house cleaning products, but it’s a fair price to pay when you recognize that many of those house cleaners are loaded with toxic chemicals.

The best place to buy Pure Haven stuff is from their website.

You can join simply as a customer or as a marketer, which entitles you to get bonuses and sell products for them.

Many MLM companies end up with their products available on eBay and Amazon.

They usually end up being cheaper on these 3rd party websites.

Pure Haven is one of the few MLMs that still manages to maintain the monopoly on their own products.

Pure Haven Essentials Money Back Guarantee & Refund Policy

Pure Haven has one of the coolest money-back guarantees out of any other MLM company that we have reviewed.

It’s called a 60-Day Empty Bottle Guarantee.

You can probably figure out what that implies.

You’re able to return the bottle – regardless of whether it’s full or empty – within 60 days and get a refund.

That basically means that you can use up a product and then return it anyways.

But that’s unethical and nobody would do that, I hope.

You will be given a full refund of the purchase price minus shipping.

Pure Haven Essentials Pros & Cons

It’s a good idea to be well aware of all the pros and cons for any company that you’re considering joining or buying products from.

There are certainly some great things about Pure Haven, but it’s wise to consider the negatives as well.

Pros
  • Has a pretty generous compensation plan that’s ideal for people who like to recruit new members.
  • Their new products allegedly use wholesome, healthy and natural ingredients.
  • Their prices are quite reasonable even if you’re not a member.
  • Their customer service is known to be quite good.
  • They have a good variety of different products that can appeal to a wide audience.
Cons
  • They are just a rebranding of a company that went out of business because their products were found to be toxic and dangerous.
  • If you don’t like recruiting members you can have a hard time making money simply selling products.
  • They have a number of negative reviews from various sources.

Pure Haven Essentials Review: Final Verdict

Pure Haven Essentials review: final verdict

It’s good to be cautious of Pure Haven Essentials, because they are the rebranding of a company that was known for selling toxic products.

In many people’s eyes, that makes them a complete write-off.

However, we can’t make your decision for you.

Many people believe that the company has made some serious changes for the better since they were Ava Anderson.

Others even swear by them.

Now that you have finished this article, you should be better able to make a decision regarding your choice to take part in Pure Haven Essentials.

Vasayo Review 2021: Is It A Scam? Learn The Truth

Written by: Nigel Ford

This is a Vasayo review. You will learn here: what is Vasayo, how does it work, what do they sell, their most popular products, mlm business opportunity and compensation plan. We will show you also couple customers reviews and complaints, tell you about prices, refund policy and recommend the best places to buy their products. At the end you will get all the pros and cons, so you can decide if this is a company you want to deal with. Keep reading!

Vasayo reviews photo medium

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably heard of or seen MLM companies.

You might not have known that they were called such a thing – only in recent years did I realize that a girl I met in high school who was selling health & beauty products was actually the first distributor I ever met for an MLM company – but you’ve probably known someone to be involved with one at some point.

Unfortunately, this particular type of business has a pretty bad rep.

Many people think that their best skill is ripping off members, taking the cash, and running.

Today we’ll give you a bit of insight about multilevel marketing brands, particularly Vasayo.

After reading this article you’ll be better able to decide if you want to join the company or any other similar groups.

What is Vasayo?

Vasayo logo

Vasayo is a brand that has grown immensely popular in the last few years.

Though it’s been around for more than a decade, the company has gone through some serious changes.

It’s owned by Dallin Larsen, a guy who was involved in another MLM company with his wife.

Monavie, the group that they were involved with, was sold to Jeunesse after a decade of him and his wife running the show.

Needless to say, this suggests that the owners of Vasayo have some experience working with MLM companies.

So are they out to grab you, or do they want you to have a smooth marketing experience?

I’m leaning towards the latter, but you’ll have to make that decision for yourself.

Vasayo is pretty strong in the market.

While their products aren’t household names yet, they have a good foot in the door.

Vasayo: What Do They Sell?

Vasayo is one of the many health & wellness MLM companies that has sprung up in recent years.

They offer a variety of products intended to help support general health.

One of the claims that makes this group a bit different than other similar brands is the way that they promote their supplements.

They say that most other vitamin supplements on the market aren’t properly absorbed.

That means that a lot of supplements that people take are simply wasted.

Speaking from a background of pharmacology and supplementation, I can say that there is some truth to this.

However, Vasayo also says that their products are 90% absorbed by the body.

I don’t have time to look at all their products and their ingredients, but this is a very loose claim to make.

Every ingredient in every supplement has a different bioavailability (the rate at which they are absorbed) and to say that all their products are 90% absorbed by the body is pretty hard to believe.

It is certainly possible to make supplements more bioavailable, and Vasayo claims that they use “advanced technology for superior bioavailability.”

I like to trust in people and organizations who are trying to do good for the world, but there isn’t a lot of evidence to support these claims.

Vasayo Most Popular Products

The list of Vasayo products is pretty small.

They only really have a few products on the market, and their most popular ones are the MicroLife line.

Of these, you will find that these ones are commonly cited for their popularity.

MicroLife Nutritionals Essentials

Vasayo MicroLife Nutritionals Essentials

A multi-vitamin that’s mixed together and uses some of Vasayo’s ‘advanced technology’ to increase the absorption rate of the vitamins.

MicroLife Nutritionals Neuro

Vasayo MicroLife Nutritionals Neuro

MicroLife Nutritionals Neuro is a mix of nutritional compounds that’s intended to improve cognitive function.

MicroLife Nutritionals Energy

Vasayo MicroLife Nutritionals Energy

MicroLife Nutritionals Energy is a spray that contains a number of herbal and other natural ingredients to act as a replacement for energy drinks.

MicroLife Nutritionals Renew

Vasayo MicroLife Nutritionals Renew

MicroLife Nutritionals Renew is a product that’s designed to help boost immune function and renew feelings of youthfulness.

MicroLife Nutritionals Sleep

Vasayo MicroLife Nutritionals Sleep

MicroLife Nutritionals Sleep, as you would guess, is a formula designed to help you fall asleep at night.

Does Vasayo Work?

Vasayo Does it works

A lot of their products have received positive feedback, though there isn’t a lot of scientific evidence to support the way that they work.

Vasayo makes some pretty intense claims about their products, like the ‘fact’ that they are 90% bioavailable.

This is a very difficult claim to back up and they don’t supply much for us to go off except that they used ‘advanced technology.’

That said, regardless of whether or not they actually achieved a rate of 90% bioavailability, their products still include a number of healthy ingredients.

Whether or not they’re better than the alternatives is up for debate, but many people find that they work.

Vasayo MLM Business Opportunity

Vasayo offers customers a chance to join the company as a distributor so they can take part in a MLM business opportunity.

A MLM, or a multi-level marketing opportunity, is one that allows you to work as a salesperson and recruitment officer for a brand.

Many people don’t want to work this type of job specifically because they’ve heard bad things about it.

However it’s important to note that every company is different.

Some can actually be quite useful for helping people support their income.

Some people are even able to turn these opportunities into full-time jobs and earn a living wage off their downline (money that they make off people that they recruit.)

Does it happen often? No.

But it can and does happen.

Vasayo: The Compensation Plan

Vasayo compensation plan

Each MLM company has a different ranking scheme.

In one sense, these are the ‘levels’ of the marketing plan that allow you to increase your rank and earn better bonuses.

Vasayo has 18 ranks, and each one will provide you with different bonuses.

The particular requirements for the later ranks are a bit much to explain here, but they follow a similar structure:

  • Brand Partner (Rank 1) all you need to do is sign up as an affiliate with them.
  • Executive Brand Partner (Rank 3) requires that you recruit 2 active affiliates and generate at least 800 GV (a group value that increases as people that you have recruited into the company sell stuff).
  • Bronze (Rank 4) You must generate 80 PV (another value, Personal Value, that you will increase by selling things) while maintaining 2 active customers and 2 affiliates. You must also earn 3000 GV in lesser binary volume monthly.
  • Diamond (Rank 11) you must achieve at least 240 PV a month while also having both six active customers and affiliates. Three of these must be ranked a Blue Sapphire or higher. You also will need to generate 30,000 GV in lesser binary a week.
  • Triple Crown Blue Diamond is the final rank, and probably a good thing because it sounds like they were running out of names for ranks. You’ll need 320 PV a month, 6 active customers and 8 active affiliates ranked Diamond or more. You’ll need to make 150,000 GV on a weekly basis.

Other than that, you’ll be able to earn up to 20% commission on retail sales and a certain amount of commission off of your downline depending on your rank and their rank. You will get a bonus $50 if one of your download makes 500 PV.

Is Vasayo A Pyramid Scheme?

Most MLM business are pyramid schemes.

The difference is whether or not the company is run by people who care about their members or by those who don’t.

Vasayo seems to be a very fair company and its owner has worked in the MLM niche before.

Their compensation plan is fair, and you will have to work hard but you will be compensated fairly.

The pyramid scheme became a topic of controversy because it was discovered that it’s quite easy to take advantage of distributors or other members of the business by using this model.

Not everyone wants to take advantage of people, though.

Vasayo Reviews & Complaints

Vasayo reviews

Just as with any company, there are a number of reviews and complaints for Vasay from people who have had different experiences.

We have compiled some of the most recent reviews of their business and products so you can have a better understanding of what people are saying about Vasayo.

The most recent reviewer was a person who has “trouble sleeping sometimes.”

Their review was short and sweet, saying that they “took this product once and it worked wonderfully.”

There’s one point for them.

Unfortunately, the next reviewer wasn’t nearly as stoked.

Not only did they not enjoy their products, but they could “not get a refund on their products within 30 days.”

A couple of the things that they bought worked, but “2 were defective” and the user was “not able to use them.”

They were disappointed that the money-back policy doesn’t include opened products, and now they are “stuck with them and one I can’t use.”

Vasayo is relatively new and they don’t have a huge customer base yet.

However, reviews seem balanced across the board.

Vasayo Prices & Where To Buy

Vasayo Official Website

The best place to buy Vasayo products is from their website.

This might discourage you from trying to become a distributor, but you will get a better deal if you are purchasing products as an affiliate.

For people who don’t know any distributors, the prices can still be quite reasonable online.

The first 4 of their most popular products that we listed, the MicroLife line – including MicroLife Renew, Energy, Sleep, and Core Essentials will run you $54.95 when purchased off their site.

MicroLife Nutritionals Neuro, designed to improve cognitive abilities, is a bit more expensive.

It’ll cost $69.95 (but who can put a price on brainpower?)

Vasayo Money Back Guarantee & Refund Policy

Vasayo offers people a product return guarantee for anything that was purchased in the last 30 days.

They offer a full refund of the product.

However, they have also said that they will not return products that have been opened.

Some people have not had products refunded even though they were visibly defunct.

Vasayo Pros & Cons

It’s a good idea to understand the positive and negative sides to any company that you are planning to join or even to do business with.

This allows you to weigh out the good and bads in one place so you can make a quick decision.

Without further ado, here are the pros and cons about working with, or buying from, Vasayo.

Pros
  • They are run by a guy who has a ton of experience in the MLM world and wants to ensure that people working under him have a good experience.
  • Offers very powerful supplements in place of products that are not easily absorbed.
  • Relies on complex technologies to enhance the strength and potency of their products.
  • A fair compensation plan with a lot of room for ranking up and increasing your overall payouts.
  • A small product line so you can be aware of pretty much everything that they sell when you are working as a distributor.
Cons
  • There isn’t a lot of clinical evidence to support the claim that their products are actually any better or worse than the other products on the market.
  • Some people might be daunted by the number of ranks that they can increase.
  • There are not a lot of reviews about this company available online as they’re relatively new.
  • Some people have reported having a bad experience with their return policy.

Vasayo Review: Final Verdict

Vasayo review: final verdict graphic

It can be a difficult to decide whether or not you want to join a MLM company.

There are so many variables to consider that many people just avoid them altogether.

However, some of them are certainly better than others.

It seems like Vasayo is one of these.

They have a small product line and the company is headed by someone who struggled from the bottom of a MLM business before.

Their policies are clearly outlined and they’re not making any outlandish claims (except perhaps about the potency of their supplements) so you can expect to get what you’re told.

We can’t make your decisions for you, but hopefully you’ll be better able to make a decision about what choice you’re going to make after reading this article.

DoTERRA Review 2021: Is It A Scam? Learn The Truth

Written by: Nigel Ford

This is a DoTERRA review. You will learn here: what is DoTERRA, how does it work, what do they sell, their most popular products, mlm business opportunity and compensation plan. We will show you also couple customers reviews and complaints, tell you about prices, refund policy and recommend the best places to buy their products. At the end you will get all the pros and cons, so you can decide if this is a company you want to deal with. Keep reading!

DoTERRA reviews photo

DoTERRA isn’t just a company that sells essential oils.

They also offer their users a multi-level marketing opportunity, which means that they can join up and sell products or recruit new members to join the brand.

Some people find this an exciting opportunity.

Other people jump and run when they hear about this.

That’s usually because they’ve heard something bad about these MLM businesses.

That’s not without merit. Some of them are sheisty.

Today we’ll let you know what’s up with DoTERRA so you can decide whether or not you want to do business with them.

What is DoTERRA?

DoTERRA logo

DoTERRA is one of the most popular brands that sells essential oils while offering an MLM opportunity.

There are a few other businesses that offer both of these, the most popular being Young Living, Be Young, and DoTERRA.

There are a few more on the market but these are generally considered the most popular.

The brand is quite renown for its effective marketing strategies.

They’re not old in a long-scale sense – they’ve been around since 2008 – but they’ve done a pretty good job reaching a wide audience.

This is probably because one of the owners comes from a healthcare background and the other has a business background.

Overall, the goal of DoTERRA is to supply people with an alternative way to find themselves happy and healthy.

Their main products are a variety of essential oils that can be used for different purposes.

DoTERRA: What Do They Sell?

They sell a huge number of different essential oils which are volatile compounds extracted from a variety of different plants.

The oils that they sell are therapeutic-grade and have legitimate medical applications.

There are so many different types of oils that it’s impossible to list them all.

Essential oils have been used for hundreds of years as incense, for aromatherapy, and for many things spiritual and superstitious.

Popular oils used throughout history include frankincense, made from frankincense gum, tea tree oil, lavender oil, and myrrh.

All of these oils have different medical properties and are very powerful.

They should be used responsible and never taken internally without the guidance of a medical professional.

DoTERRA Most Popular Products

DoTERRA sells a huge number of essential oils and some of them are more popular than others.

The top 3 are popular among other essential oil brands, but some of their products are unique blends that they make on their own.

The Top 3 Essential Oils are lavender, peppermint, and frankincense.

  • Lavender is very calming and many people like to use it in their baths.
  • Peppermint is useful as an energy tonic and a digestive aid. It also goes well in a bath and can help to promote good respiration.
  • Frankincense has been wildly popular as an aromatherapy oil for many years.

They also make a number of different blended oils. The most popular ones that they sell include:

Breathe

Breathe

Breathe is a mixture of oils that’s intended to help open up your bronchial pathways so you can breathe easier.

Deep Blue

Deep Blue

Deep Blue is an oil that’s made to help soothe the pain of sore muscles or aching joints. It should be used externally.

Onguard

Onguard

Onguard is intended to put your immune system on guard and help you stay strong and health.

Does DoTERRA Work?

DoTERRA-Does It Work

There have been innumerable studies done on essential oils and their medicinal benefits.

Despite that, research is still fairly young.

And none of DoTERRA’s oils themselves have been used in any studies to my knowledge.

That said, there’s no reason to believe that they wouldn’t work.

It’s possible to botch the extraction of an essential oil but the brand wouldn’t be so popular if they weren’t good quality.

Some people are skeptical of the claims made on certain essential oil products.

For example, there isn’t a lot of evidence to prove that their Onguard oil can be useful for boosting immunity.

However, that’s not because they have been disproved.

It’s just because studies haven’t been done yet.

Folk medicine practitioners, like those of the Ayurvedic and Ancient Chinese Medicine systems, have been promoting alternative health practices like using essential oils for many years.

They are consistently being proved right.

Now that Western science is catching up with them they are beginning to realize that folk medicine, when part of a bigger plan, can be quite helpful.

DoTERRA MLM Business Opportunity

DoTERRA provides members with a MLM business opportunity.

This means that people can join the company and start to sell products or recruit members to do more of the same.

As you do this, you will earn bonuses and discounts on the products.

In most cases you’ll also earn a certain percentage of commission from the people in your downline.

These are the people that you recruit, and the people that they recruit, and so on.

DoTERRA: The Compensation Plan

DoTERRA compensation plan

Every MLM company has a different compensation plan.

That’s one of the reasons that they have such a bad rep.

Some MLM companies have laced up terrible compensation plans in nice wording and ended up ripping off their members.

Not every business does that, though.

DoTERRA has their own unique plan and you can look at it yourself.

One thing that’s great about DoTERRA is they offer their own little online ‘university’ in which members can get free information and articles about selling for them.

The coolest thing about them is their Fast Track bonus, which means you get 20% commission on anything someone you recruit sells for the first 60 days.

However you need to be making at least 100 PV (point value) on your own sales before this will happen.

Similar to other MLMs, the Point Value system is a bit out of balance.

You’ll get about half as many points as the dollar value of what you’re selling (a 10-dollar sale will get you just about 5 points.)

The other unique thing about them is their Power of 3 Incentive program.

This gives you more bonuses when you sponsor 3 people who join the company.

You then get more bonuses when they hire more people.

That’s the gist of it.

Of course, like any other MLM, you can level up by selling things.

Your bonuses will increase as you earn more PV and recruit more members.

Is DoTERRA A Pyramid Scheme?

A pyramid scheme is basically just a business in which the people at the bottom, which would be the newest recruits, send profit towards the top of the pyramid.

Many people don’t like pyramid schemes.

These are usually people who are at the bottom of the pyramid or not a part of it at all.

Pyramid schemes aren’t inherently bad, it just takes time and practice to make money with them.

It’s also worth noting that you’ll pretty much never reach the ‘top of the pyramid’ and become the CEO of a company just from being a distributor.

Anything’s possible – but I’m assuming you’re not joining a MLM business in an effort to become a CEO.

It’s probably better to go to business school for that.

DoTERRA Reviews & Complaints

DoTERRA reviews

Just like with any company, there are a wide variety of customer opinions on DoTERRA.

Some people don’t like the way that the business structure is set up or have had bad experiences.

The most recent reviewer on the BBB Review Site said that Doterra “requires its customers to buy merchandise every month,” saying that if they don’t, “the account will be shut down.”

That makes sense, considering joining as a wholesale member is a special bonus and if you’re not going to keep buying things from them, why would they give you a 1-time bonus?

Unfortunately, for some people this just works out bad.

The same reviewer was “forced to close our account during a move” only because they “didn’t have an address to send to.”

That said, a lot of people have had totally awesome experiences.

The reviewer before that has “been using their products on and around my family for five years now.”

She believes that they are “incredible products” and fully supports their customer service.

She has “never been more satisfied with them.”

The rest of the reviews are from different customers.

Generally the oils seem to be in good quality but some people had bad experiences with the business practices and reported them as flaws.

DoTERRA Prices & Where To Buy

DoTerra Official Website

You can find DoTERRA products easiest on their website.

You can sign up as a Wholesale Member, which will give you wholesale prices, or join as a distributor in which you get the same discount but can also earn money.

They are one of the few MLM companies that don’t have their products widely available on Amazon or other online markets.

You can still buy the Introductory Sales Kits on Amazon, but you won’t be saving yourself any money.

Their Natural Deodorant costs $8.50 when you buy it wholesale.

That’s the price that distributors get.

It sells for $11.33 at retail price.

Pretty expensive for a 1.7 ounce stick of deodorant.

Their oils are also a lot cheaper when you get them wholesale.

For example, you save a pretty good amount buying any essential oils when you get them wholesale.

Listed below are some oils with the retail price first, followed by the wholesale price.

  • Basil essential oil, $67.00, $20.00
  • Cilantro essential oil, $67.00, $26.00
  • Ylang ylang, $47.00, $35.25

If you have ever bought essential oils before then you’ll realize that these prices are nothing to write home about.

They can be found for much cheaper.

DoTERRA Money Back Guarantee & Refund Policy

DoTERRA has a very good outline of their return policy on their website.

There are a lot of specifics.

Generally you can get your full refund if you return the product within 30 days, whether or not it’s opened.

Opened products can’t be refunded after 30 days and non-opened ones will receive less of a refund.

DoTERRA Pros & Cons

It’s a good idea to figure out the pros and cons of any business that you’re planning on joining.

Even if you’re just planning to buy stuff from them.

You can learn a lot about the potential quality of a company’s stuff just by observing their business practices.

Without further ado, here are the pros and cons of DoTERRA.

Pros
  • Essential oils are continually being backed up by science and are becoming accepted as more than folk medicine
  • Essential oils are super versatile and can be used in different areas of life
  • They can help to support you in a natural, healthy and holistic lifestyle. This is becoming more and more of a popular ‘trend’ (despite the fact that living healthy is how we’re all supposed to live)
  • They have developed a great support system for their members with free training and good articles.
  • They are run very professionally and have good customer service.
  • You can get a Fast Start Bonus if you manage to recruit new members really quickly.
Cons
  • You need to pay $35 to sign up. People who have never seen the pricing of other MLMs may be disappointed at this. However, $35 is a lot less than you’ll pay to join other companies.
  • DoTERRA doesn’t own the farms where the oils are made and harvested. Some people might find this a problem.
  • They do not have any proprietary oils, which means that they basically get the oils from another company and rebrand them.
  • They lack their own quality control because they don’t do extractions or cold-pressing at their facility.
  • They’re a little expensive.

DoTERRA Review: Final Verdict

DoTERRA review: final verdict graphic

DoTERRA has made itself a name as a reliable, if a little bit expensive, MLM company.

They treat their members and customers fairly and provide them with good quality oils.

Reviews across the internet are mixed, but people who work with them tend to have positive experiences.

We can’t tell you whether or not to join a company, but hopefully we’ve given you enough information for you to make your own choice.

Good luck!

Mederma Stretch Marks Therapy Review 2021: Is It A Scam? Learn The Truth

Written by: Joseph Mauro

In this Mederma Stretch Marks review we will explain to you what Mederma Stretch Marks Therapy is, how does it work, what are its ingredients, side effects, show you real customers reviews, give you prices & recommend best places to buy it.

Mederma Stretch Marks Therapy reviews photo

Stretch marks, a condition often referred to as Striae, is common among the population.

Up to 88% of women develop stretch marks during pregnancy.

As much as 43% of people who are obese have stretch marks.

Even certain types of surgeries can lead to these unattractive issues affecting the skin.

Once developed, it becomes incredibly difficult to get rid of these marks.

Many products have been developed to help fade stretch marks and improve the overall appearance of a person’s skin, yet they often fail to meet the expectations of the users.

Here, we will look at Mederma Stretch Marks Therapy.

This product has been developed with a number of botanical extracts to deliver a potent solution to individuals who are struggling with stretch marks.

The product claims to be safe and to help reduce the visible appearance of striae in just a few weeks.

What Is Mederma Stretch Marks Therapy?

Mederma Stretch Marks Therapy is a lotion that provides a natural formula to address stretch marks that may be present following pregnancy, surgery or even weight gain.

The product is manufactured by Merz Pharmaceutical, LLC, a company that is based in the North American region.

The manufacturer specializes in different types of products, including natural supplements and skin care products, as well as a number of pharmaceutical products.

The company promises the user that they will not only be able to take care of existing stretch marks with the use of this lotion, but also effectively prevent future stretch marks from forming.

They also claim that all of the active ingredients in their proprietary formula has been scientifically proven to deliver real results without harsh side-effects.

Mederma Stretch Marks Therapy Ingredients

This product primarily relies on three specific ingredients that have been chosen based on the scientific evidence available to support the effectiveness of these products in reducing the visible appearance of stretch marks.

In addition to providing a way to reduce the appearance of these marks, the ingredients were also selected based on properties such as the efficiency in moisturizing the skin, as well as to help restore the skin’s elasticity.

Let’s take a look at these three ingredients and how effective they really are.

Cepalin

This is a unique botanical extra proprietary blend from the brand that manufactures the product.

This substance is extracted from a specific type of onion, known as the allium cepa onion.

It has been scientifically proven to help reduce inflammation of the skin when applied topically, as well as to reduce scar tissue overproduction.

In turn, this will help to improve the appearance of the scar and may also be helpful in fading the scar.

Hyaluronic Acid

A very popular anti-aging and moisturizing ingredient that is found in thousands of beauty products.

Studies have proven hyaluronic acid to provide a significant improvement in skin hydration, as well as to improve skin elasticity and firmness.

At the same time, studies have also proven the ingredient to reduce wrinkles.

These effects further add to the potential benefits that this product has to offer the user.

Centella Asiatica Plant Extract

Often called Gotu Kola, this herb is native to the Indian region, as well as to Asia and Australia.

This plant extract is primarily used to speed up the recovery of wounds.

The plant has also been proven to provide improvements in other skin conditions, such as psoriasis and eczema.

How Does Mederma Stretch Marks Therapy Work?

Mederma Stretch Marks treatment

The product has been developed to take advantage of several natural ingredients to provide a way for the skin to rejuvenate and for helping to eliminate those unpleasant stretch marks.

One of the primary working actions for this product is its moisturizing effects.

The ingredients help to nourish the user’s skin and also helps to deliver an effective way to moisturize the skin.

This is an important part of improving the skin’s general appearance.

Some of the ingredients of this product’s formula can also help to prevent further stretch marks and reduce inflammation, which is common in new stretch marks.

This would, in turn, help to make the marks become lighter and fade gradually.

How To Use Mederma Stretch Marks Therapy?

Mederma Stretch Marks Therapy cream is easy to use and only contains a combination of natural ingredients to benefit the skin.

The product should ideally be used two times every day.

Customers are advised to continue using the product for several months if they want to achieve maximum results.

This is an important part of the formula provided in this cream as the ingredients gradually work to fade the stretch marks that the user is trying to get rid of.

The user should apply the cream to areas affected by stretch marks in the morning, as well as at night before they go to bed.

Mederma Stretch Marks Therapy Side Effects

Mederma Stretch Marks side effects

We noticed mentions of some side-effects in the reviews that have been shared on the Amazon platform for this product.

In particular, it seems like some individuals experienced a rash after they applied the product.

This can be unpleasant and may cause a person to stop using the product – continued use may cause a more severe rash.

Additionally, there are also many customers who have noted that they experienced no visible results, even with continued results.

Mederma Stretch Marks Therapy Reviews & Complaints

Mederma Stretch Marks reviews

There are hundreds of reviews on the manufacturer’s website, as well as on Amazon, to help interested individuals get a good idea of how this product works, and whether it might be worth their money.

It is always important to look at such reviews before buying a product like Mederma Stretch Marks Therapy, especially since it does not seem like this product comes with a money-back guarantee.

We would like to share some of the reviews we found with our readers to help them see what others have to say about the product – and to help our readers ensure they can make an informed decision when it comes to deciding whether or not they wish to buy this therapy system.

Let’s start with a couple of the positive reviews on the Amazon platform.

Michelle says:

I purchased this for my teenage daughter who had very visible red stretchmarks on her thighs from a growth spurt. She was very self-conscious and didn’t want to wear shorts or anything that showed her legs. In desperation, I started researching ways to help her and came across this product. It is amazing! I honestly thought I was going to be wasting my money, but I was desperate to help my daughter. In just a few weeks the marks are barely visible, and she is so happy. Moms out there, I would highly recommend this for your daughters who are going through the same thing. It really does work!

Breanna Kratz says:

Recently added this to my nightly routine. I only use it once daily, but I’m already seeing results. I bought it back in May but kept forgetting it. It’s no miracle cream and doesn’t seem to touch the really deep stretch marks, but at least fades the color.

Now, let’s take a look at some of the negative reviews that we found.

Itzyari says:

I’ve tried this product after getting stretch marks during my first pregnancy. I used as directed and it did absolutely nothing after I finished the bottle I requested.

Bridget D. says:

I do not have sensitive skin, but this product gave me a terrible rash!!

Mederma Stretch Marks Therapy Packages, Prices & Where To Buy

Mederma Official Website

It is difficult to provide an accurate overview of the pricing for this product, as the cream is available at a number of different retailers – both offline and online.

Thus, the price of the product will usually be different between the retailers where it is sold.

We found that the official website that represents the brand and the product does not directly sell the cream, but rather links to their store listings on the Amazon platform.

On Amazon, the customer can choose to buy a single tube of the product.

This will cost the customer $26.50.

Returns are not accepted on the product, according to the terms of Amazon. Shipping charges may also be applied to an order.

Customers can also choose to subscribe to a monthly “auto-ship” program on Amazon for this product, which will help them save between 5% and 15% on their order, depending on how many products they buy and how long they subscribe for.

Mederma Money Back Guarantee & Refund Policy

We did research on this product and closely inspected the brand’s official website, but we were not able to find information about a money-back guarantee.

Even though thousands of brands in the skincare brand tend to offer a money-back guarantee, it does not look like this particular brand has decided to offer a similar “satisfactory guarantee.”

This could be unpleasant for many customers as many people rely on a money-back guarantee to ensure they can get their money back if the product fails to work for them and fade their stretch marks.

Mederma Stretch Marks Therapy Pros & Cons

Pros
  • This product has been developed with ingredients that are extracted from natural sources only. By avoiding the inclusion of certain ingredients like chemicals, the product will be less harsh on the user’s skin as compared to some alternative options that can currently be found on the market. Natural ingredients often also tend to have additional benefits for the user’s body.
  • In addition to fading the appearance of stretch marks, the ingredients that have been included in this product’s formula have also been chosen based on their ability to help restore moisture and elasticity to the user’s skin. In turn, this may help to provide a slight improvement in skin that has lost its firmness. The moisturization effects of the ingredients will also help to improve the overall appearance of the user’s skin in the applied areas.
  • The product is relatively affordable, which means most women will be able to get their hands on a tube of Mederma Stretch Marks Therapy to help them get rid of problematic stretch marks they might have developed during their pregnancy or even with weight gain. The cream is also more affordable than many alternative options that are currently available.
  • Apart from being sold on the manufacturer’s website, the product is also available at a number of third-party retailers. This makes the product easier to find for many women who require a potent formula that will help them treat stretch marks. Amazon.com also sells the product, which makes it more convenient for many women to buy the product – this platform has become a preferred shopping portal for millions of people in the United States. Apart from Amazon, customers can also pick this product up from Target, Walgreens, Walmart, CVS Pharmacy, Rite Aid, and more.
Cons
  • Even though available at a large number of retailers, Mederma Stretch Marks Therapy cream seems to be limited to customers in the United States. We could not find any listed retailers that supply the product to customers outside of the country, which means individuals who live in other countries would most likely not be able to get access to this product.
  • We could not find any details regarding the possibility of obtaining a refund if the product does not work for a customer. A money-back guarantee is something that a lot of people appreciate a product like this. They are investing their money in a product they have not used before and would like to know that they will not be wasting their money if the product proves to be ineffective for them. This means that once purchased, the customer’s money would go wasted if the product does not help to reduce the appearance of their stretch marks.
  • We did find a few reviews from customers that reported the development of a rash after they applied the product to their skin. Whether this is a side-effect of the formula or allergic reactions that the individuals might have experiencedto the ingredients that have been included in the product. Furthermore, there were also some reviews that explained the product is greasy and does not have a pleasant smell.

Mederma Stretch Marks Therapy Review: Final Verdict

Mederma Stretch Marks review: final verdict

During pregnancy or weight gain, stretch marks are almost sure to develop.

Various other factors can lead to these unpleasant marks appearing on the skin.

Mederma Stretch Marks Therapy is a natural product that has been developed to address this problem by thoroughly nourishing and moisturizing the skin in affected areas.

The manufacturer claims that the product works in only 12 weeks and can address stretch marks in all commonly affected areas.

After thorough research, we found that women are really enjoying the results that this product has provided them with.

There are some unhappy users but, overall, we did not find any adverse effects that could do harm to the user’s skin.

The product is also relatively affordable.

We did not, however, find any details on a money-back guarantee, which means individuals should do research before deciding to invest in this stretch mark cream.

Rain International Review 2021: Is It A Scam? Learn The Truth

Written by: Nigel Ford

This is a Rain International review. You will learn here: what is Rain, how does it work, what do they sell, their most popular products, mlm business opportunity and compensation plan. We will show you also couple customer reviews and complaints, tell you about prices, refund policy and recommend the best places to buy their products. At the end you will get all the pros and cons, so you can decide if this is a company you want to deal with. Keep reading!

If you don’t know anything about MLM companies then you’ve come to the right place.

Even if you do know about them and just want some more juicy details, you’re still in the right place.

All of them are a bit different, and today we’re going to talk about Rain.

It’s a relatively new business, and a lot of people have had different experiences with it.

What Is Rain?

rain logo

Rain has been around since 2009 under a slightly different name.

When it was first opened it was known as Rain Nutrition.

2 years later they were acquired by Rain International.

Nowadays they have a wide range of operations, particularly in the EU – there are ten different countries in Europe who are working with Rain.

However it’s only in very recent years that they’ve started really banking.

In January 2016, their sales pretty much doubled. By the next month they were breaking records in the EU.

The current president, and the owner of the company, is Byron Belka.

He’s quite successful in the realm of network marketing, but he doesn’t have the glaring experience that some others do.

That said, he worked a lot in MLM companies, so he knows what to do to make a successful business that other people will want to join.

He’s one of the few people who decided they wanted to take their multi-level marketing to the next level and actually form their own business.

Rain: What Do They Sell?

Rain products

Rain operates around the foundation of ‘seed nutrition,’ which means that they deal more with seeds than the actual whole fruits or vegetables.

There is some wisdom to this as a seed contains all the nutrients needed to grow an entire plant.

In many cases, seeds – once sprouted or ‘activated’ are the most nutritious part of a plant.

They are highly dense in antioxidants, phytonutrients, and other important compounds.

The products that they sell have cool, hip, trendy names like the SOUL line and CORE.

I’m not one for catchy marketing so this doesn’t really mean anything to me.

Aside from their main lines, they also sell varieties of coffee that are infused with the oil from various seeds.

They also have some seed-based skin care products that are actually pretty good for your skin.

As a bonus for those who are ethically-minded, all of the things that they sell are vegan, gluten-free and made without the use of GMOs.

Rain Most Popular Products

There are a number of different products that Rain sells, but some of their product lines are more popular than others.

SOUL

rain soul

The SOUL line is a nutritional supplement that’s intended to help rejuvenate and improve overall health.

It’s their flagship product so it makes sense that it’s the most popular.

It contains a variety of seeds that I know to be quite healthy, especially black cumin seed.

CORE

rain core

CORE is their runner-up product.

It’s a supplement that’s intended to help cleanse and detoxify the body through the power of seeds.

There are also some other ingredients like kale and milk thistle.

Apparently it works best when mixed with SOUL.

FORM

rain form

FORM is a highly concentrated protein supplement.

Like everything else they sell, they say that they work best together.

The 3 of these products together form their complete health system.

Does Rain Work?

One of the good things about Rain is that its products are endorsed by a doctor.

Bradford Weeks, M.D., is a fairly well-known online persona.

He is well qualified, he does online webinars, and he supports Rain and their products with his qualifications.

In fact, he has done several webinars on their products in particular.

The SOUL supplements have been covered by him on his own website.

That said, he isn’t the most clean-handed doctor on the face of the planet.

He’s been charged with misconduct more than once.

A lot more than once.

In fact at one point he got a 5-year suspension from practicing medicine and he almost had his license entirely revoked.

He’s known for prescribing the wrong drugs at the wrong time, misdiagnosing people, and just being sheisty in general.

So he’s not really one to trust.

If anything this is one of the few MLMs that sounds like it fits the bill of a ‘scheme.’

Some of their products have been tested by Brunswick Labs, an independent research unit, but still none of their products have been evaluated by the FDA.

And who knows what the nutritional lab is involved in – some companies have been known to hire sheisty labs to ‘validate’ products that they know are garbage.

That said, a lot of people have reported positive experiences using their products.

So take that as you will.

Rain MLM Business Opportunity

Rain offers people the chance to join their multi-level marketing business.

This means that you can put in time and hours to work for them.

You can work from home or go out and try to find people to buy things for you.

The main ways to make money from MLM businesses revolve around selling items to friends, family, and other people, or recruiting other members to the company so they can do the same.

More often than not the best way to make money is by recruiting members.

Why?

Most MLMs make sure that you meet a minimum quota every month to stay active.

And you earn money based on commission from everyone that you recruit.

So if you recruit a ton of people you’ll earn more and more commission, even just off of their minimum monthly contribution.

Not a bad way to make some residual income.

Unfortunately some of these businesses are vastly superior to others.

The compensation plan is what really makes the difference and sets one brand apart from another.

Rain: The Compensation Plan

Rain compensation plan

Now that you know a company’s compensation plan is what makes (most) of the difference,  you’ll probably want to know about Rain’s.

The first thing to know is that, if you want to remain active in the company, you’re going to need to meet the minimum PV (personal volume) of 50 points.

This is a way that companies tend to get people to autoship products for them.

In some cases this isn’t a problem – namely if you’re working hard and making money.

However, this is also part of the reason that people assume these companies are pyramid schemes.

That said, this particular brand isn’t very upfront about their business opportunity and they don’t make it easy to glean information from their own website.

Fortunately we’ve taken that step for you.

There are a few ways that you can earn cash.

Most of these ways revolve around various bonuses that can be achieved by being a good salesperson.

  • You can earn direct retail commission. Up to 30%, which is alright for businesses like this.
  • The first orders of people that you recruit directly will earn you 50% commission. You also get 10% commission on the first order of people that they recruit.
  • Several other bonuses apply for different things. For example every week you remain a top achiever – which basically means sell a lot of stuff and recruit people – you’ll earn between $100 to $1,000.
  • You earn 10% commission on your team’s sales.

And here’s the cream of the crop.

First off, Rain is kind of sheisty in the sense that they make it really hard for you to find out exactly how much it costs to join.

But, anyways.

We figured it out.

There are several different packages to choose from.

The pricier ones allow you more chance to make money.

They provide you with a different number of business centers which means you’ll be able to reach more people.

  • Business Builder package will cost you $249 and provide you with 1 business center.
  • Professional Builder package will run you $599 and give you access to 3 business centers.
  • Rain Elite will cost you a whopping $919 and give you access to 1 business center and 6 months of autoship.
  • Super Elite will run you a wallet-crushing, bone-breaking price of $1259, which is the most I’ve ever seen for any MLM company, and give you 3 business centers and 6 months of autoship.

If it were me I’d go with a regular package but honestly this whole thing throws my game off.

I think they’re not upfront about these prices because they want people to get intrigued before they end up stabbing them for huge prices.

Is Rain A Pyramid Scheme?

Rain pyramid scheme

As far as I’m concerned, Rain is one of the more scheme-y MLMs out there.

A large part of this is because they’re not upfront about the prices you’ll need to pay to join.

This suggests that they’re more concerned about earning money than they are about their customers and employees.

That said, there are still a lot of people who make money with Rain and swear that it’s a good company.

Rain Reviews and Complaints

Rain reviews

Despite what I think of the company itself, Rain products have some pretty solid reviews.

For example, their seed-based antioxidant products are rated more than 4 stars on Amazon.

The most recent reviewer said that “it is working for me.”

Despite their brutal symptoms of arthritis that stopped them from walking, they said that “using this 1 per day for two months I am able to walk comfortably.”

One person found that the product was quite effective but was dismayed to find that “each packet contains over a teaspoon of sugar.”

Maybe they should have read the ingredients before buying!

Another review of another product says that they “don’t know how it works, but it does.”

After taking the product in the morning it “makes me feel energized and ready for the day.”

Rain Prices & Where to Buy

Rain official website

There are a ton of different places to buy Rain products.

Because they’ll help you get set up with a business site, there are more places to buy Rain than there are pages on Amazon.

Well, maybe not that many. But that said, you can also buy their products on Amazon.

The prices are pretty similar no matter where you go.

On Amazon you can expect to pay prices like these:

  • Rain Soul Seed-Based Antioxidants, a single box (30 pouches) will cost you $79.99.
  • Rain Fused Latte Coffee will run you $12.97 for a box of 15 packets.
  • A 10-box bulk supply of Rain Core Antioxidant Supplements will run you $364.55, which isn’t bad considering it should last you almost a year.

Rain Money Back Guarantee

Rain International offers people a 30 day money-back guarantee.

They’re quite confident with their products.

If you return anything within 30 days of buying it you can get a refund or store credit minus shipping.

Rain Pros & Cons

It’s wise to understand the pros and cons of any company before deciding to do business with them.

Pros
  • They have solid products that are positively reviewed.
  • They offer members good training and business preparation.
  • They are expanding quickly.
  • Their compensation plan is reasonable and they offer a lot of bonuses.
Cons
  • They are kind of shady about the way that they advertise their business.
  • As with any MLM it can be hard to make money if you’re not dedicated.
  • The cost to join is really expensive and you’ll have to maintain a monthly auto-ship (or repurchase) to remain active.

Rain Review: Final Verdict

Rain review: final verdict graphic

There are a lot of MLMs out there and it can be hard to sort out the good from the bad.

We’re here to help you do this.

In summary, Rain International is an interesting company.

The fact that they’re not open and honest about the costs of joining really throws me off.

What else is hidden in fine print? What else are they hiding?

Other than that they seem good.

Their products are high-quality and their employment opportunity is reasonable.

I can’t tell you whether or not you should join a company, that’s up to you.

But hopefully I’ve helped you make a decision!

Nature’s Sunshine Review 2021: Is It A Scam? Learn The Truth

Written by: Nigel Ford

This is a Nature’s Sunshine review. You will learn here: what is Nature’s Sunshine, how does it work, what do they sell, their most popular products, mlm business opportunity and compensation plan. We will show you also couple customer reviews and complaints, tell you about prices, refund policy and recommend the best places to buy their products. At the end you will get all the pros and cons, so you can decide if this is a company you want to deal with. Keep reading!

natures sunshine reviews main photo

There are a ton of multi-level marketing opportunities out there.

These types of business, also known as MLMs,  are great for helping people earn residual income – sometimes.

Unfortunately a lot of people have had bad experiences with this type of business and so they have a bad rep.

Nature’s Sunshine is one of these companies, and we’re here to help you figure out whether or not this company is worth joining.

What Is Nature’s Sunshine?

Nature’s Sunshine logo

Nature’s Sunshine is a company that sells mostly natural health products.

They focus on supplementation, homeopathy, and an assortment of other products intended to promote natural health.

The business is family-owned.

It was created in 1972, by the duo of Gene and Kristine Hughes.

Nature’s Sunshine has done pretty good in the expansion department.

By now it has a presence in more than 30 different countries across the world.

Despite that, the majority of its profits are made in the U.S. and Europe.

What’s interesting about Nature’s Sunshine is that it was one of – and arguably the first – company to encapsulate their herbs.

This is pretty impressive considering the majority of supplements that you buy these days are encapsulated.

They’re a pretty stable company and they’ve been running the business their own way for quite some time.

Nature’s Sunshine: What Do They Sell?

natures sunshine main photo

Nature’s Sunshine has a huge variety of products available.

They offer more than 600 products that can be useful for helping people manage, prevent, and deal with a huge number of health problems.

This might seem like a lot of products but considering they’ve been around for almost 50 years, it just shows that they’re making the best out of their ingenuity.

Their products can generally be classed into one of a number of different categories:

  • Children’s health: products which are obviously intended to help improve the health of youth and babies.
  • Enzymes: digestive enzymes that help to enhance the metabolization of nutrients.
  • Essential oils: concentrated plant extracts that can provide a wide variety of health benefits for different purposes.
  • Fiber: products which help to provide the body with the fiber it needs to function.
  • Herbs: tons of different herbs that have been used in various medicine systems for treating ailments.
  • Personal care: which includes products that are not necessarily meant for consumption – lotions, gels, creams, shampoos, etc.
  • Vitamins and mineral: supplements which are useful to help prevent nutritional deficiencies.

Nature’s Sunshine Most Popular Products

There are a lot of products that they sell, but certain products from Nature’s Sunshine sell a lot more than others.

These are the most popular products from this company.

Probiotic Eleven

Nature’s Sunshine Probiotic Eleven

It is a blend of probiotics that can help restore and maintain proper functioning of the bacteria in your body.

Tiao He Cleanse

Nature’s Sunshine Tiao He Cleanse

It is a cleanse that takes 15 days and is made with a mixture of Chinese Medicinal Herbs.

Mind Max

Nature’s Sunshine Mind Max

It is a bottle of 90 capsules that are intended to help you maintain the best cognitive function that you can have.

Does Nature’s Sunshine Work?

Nature’s Sunshine has been around for quite a long time, and this alone is enough for someone to believe that their products are pretty effective.

But that said, it’s not enough to believe that they’re entirely effective.

However, there have been quite a few positive reviews about the products that this company provides.

When you think about the fact that they sell products like chlorophyll – a plant-based nutrient that helps plants absorb sunshine – and people report that it’s effective at helping them feel good, I start to wonder.

Chlorophyll works great for plants, but there’s no evidence that it works in humans.

I mean, think about it – chlorophyll converts sunlight into energy.

There’s not a lot of sunshine in the human body, is there?

That said, there’s no reason to discredit the opinions of these people.

If they’ve had good experiences with these products then they’ve had good experiences.

Maybe you will, too!

In terms of scientific studies, many of the ingredients used in their products have been proven time and again to help people feel and function better.

So there’s no reason that these products shouldn’t work for you too.

Nature’s Sunshine MLM Business Opportunity

Nature’s Sunshine offers people a business opportunity.

Instead of a regular business which only allows people to buy stuff, Nature’s Sunshine allows you to join part of a marketing network.

This means that you can sell stuff for the company and earn commission, and you can also make money by recruiting other people to do the same.

In most cases, the best way to earn money from a brand like this is to recruit new members to the company.

They will become what’s known as your ‘downline.’

You will also earn commission on your downline.

That means the more that you recruit, the more money that you’ll make

Nature’s Sunshine: The Compensation Plan

Nature’s Sunshine compensation plan

The main thing that separates different MLMs from each other is the way that their compensation plans function.

Even though they’re all generally similar, each MLM appeals to different types of people in the bonuses that they offer, the rates of commission, and the amount of a discount that you get.

This particular brand offers two main compensation plans for its members.

  • The Classic Compensation Plan is made for people who already own some sort of retail outlet, or for those who have experience in the healthcare industry.
  • The Legacy Compensation Plan, the other main plan, is for people of money that you’ll make off of your downline.

Other than that, there are 4 main ways that you can earn money through these two different compensation plans.

  • Retail profits. Since you, as a retailer, will be able to buy things at a discount price, you’ll be able to earn profit simply by selling these products back to people. As ou rank up you can earn as much as 33% profit on retail sales.
  • By sponsoring new members you can earn as much as 40% commission on the things that they sell.
  • Personal rebates and group commissions. Depending on the volume of your orders with the company, you may earn a rebate of up to 20%.
  • Downline / successline commissions and overrides, which is a detailed system of income that you can earn based on the success of the people that you recruit.

Is Nature’s Sunshine A Pyramid Scheme?

Nature’s Sunshine pyramid scheme

The term ‘pyramid scheme’ has an inherently negative connotation, and in many cases people are quick to run away from any business that’s even slightly associated with being a pyramid scheme.

However, the reality is that most people don’t truly understand what a pyramid scheme is.

A pyramid scheme is basically just a name that people give to a type of business that has a high-ranking CEO that earns more money than the rest of the company.

They are associated with this type of business primarily because people are too lazy to learn about MLMs or explain how they function but they want an easy way to explain them as being scams.

Some of these businesses certainly fit the bill for being a ‘pyramid scheme,’ but there are two different ways of looking at it.

When people say ‘pyramid scheme’ in regards to these types of businesses, they are generally referring to a company that activel rips off their members and employees so they can earn money easier.

This doesn’t happen too often.

What a pyramid scheme really does is get people who rankl power in a company to funnel money up towards the CEO.

That’s pretty much every company in the world right now.

The reality is (from what I can tell, and I don’t even currently work for an MLM) is that they’re more open and honest than most regular businesses.

You’ll rarely have a chance to advance to being the CEO of a gas company.

For example, but they’ll goad you with career bonuses into thinking that you’ll be able to.

MLMs juts give you a chance to earn some extra cash, all while knowing exactly where you stand in the company.

Nature’s Sunshine Reviews & Complaints

Nature’s Sunshine reviews

One of the most truly impressive things about Nature’s Sunshine is the amount of positive reviews that their products have, particularly on sites like Amazon.

In fact, the majority of their products have more than 100 reviews yet still maintain a rating of at least 4.5 stars.

This is more than can be said of many businesses period, let alone MLMs.

Reviewers of their Immune Stimulator,  for example, say that it they “take it at the first stages of a bug and this wipes out any sickness.”

Another reviewer said that they “took it with  spleen activator from Nature’s Sunshine to help me clear  my immune  system.”

I feel that I should mention that the majority of positive reviews are all written with the same grammar and sound like they were written by the same person.

This suggests that perhaps Nature’s Sunshine is paying freelancers to write positive reviews about them. All their usernames are basic and fairly similar as well, so I personally wouldn’t trust the reviews.

In many cases you can get stuff for the  same or similar prices on other retailers and save money on shipping.

Here are some prices pulled from Amazon.

Nature’s Sunshine Pros & Cons

It’s a good idea to figure out the good things about a company as well as the bad things.

Looking at the pros and cons side-by-side is the best way to really evaluate whether or not a company is suitable for you and your lifestyle.

So, here are the pros and cons of Nature’s Sunshine.

Pros
  • You get a good amount of support from the company in regards to learning how to start your business.
  • There are company-hosted conferences to help further educate distributors.
  • You get monthly webinars from professionals to help you fine-tune your sales skills.
  • You will get your own website to help you reach customers.
  • The company has received great reviews from both employees and customers, currently holding an A+ rating on the Better Business Bureau.
Cons
  • You are required to buy at least $100 of products every month. This isn’t uncommon among MLMs but it’s kind of irritating because if you have a bad month of sales you’ll be footing the bill.
  • Again, like a lot of other MLMs, you’re going to need to recruit lots of people to make a good income. If you don’t have a big social network this can be a bit of an issue.
  • Nature’s Sunshine also ran into some legal problems in 2009. The brand was accused of bribing people in Brazil so they could import nutritional products from other areas without following through with the legal requirements. They then  hid the evidence. That said, as far as legal problems that some MLMs have run into, this is pretty mild.

Nature’s Sunshine Review: Final Verdict

Nature’s Sunshine review: final verdict

The verdict isn’t out on Nature’s Sunshine.

The company seems great in some aspects and is quite sheisty in others.

The fact that all the reviews sound like they’re written by the same person doesn’t really help.

However, they have been around for a long time and people keep buying their products.

They use scientifically evaluated ingredients so there’s definitely some reason to try them out.

If you think this is the MLM for you, then by all means, go try out your luck!
