With so many Lipozene reviews splashed across the Internet at the moment, you’re probably wondering what all the fuss is about.

There are loads of diet pills and weight loss supplements out there for people who are struggling to get rid of excess weight.

But with so many products out there and so many promises made about losing weight quickly, what’s the truth?

What Is Lipozene?

Lipozene is a branded weight loss product.

It is a specialized dietary supplement to help people lose excess weight.

It contains an active ingredient which claims to aid rapid weight loss.

It is marketed and sold by a company called the Obesity Research Institute, who are a USA based LLC, which stands for Limited Liability Company.

It has become hot property, with reviews about Lipozene appearing all over the Internet recently, because of its claims about dramatic and safe weight loss.

Lipozene Ingredients – What’s In It?

lipozene label

Just like all weight loss supplements, Lipozene interacts with the digestive system.

It contains an active ingredient called glucomannan which is extracted from the roots of the konjac plant.

Glucomannan has a high water absorbing property, and is often used for thickening food products.

It’s this ability which gives it many of its reputed health benefits, including weight loss and constipation relief.

There are also claims that it can reduce cholesterol levels as well.

Lipozene Side Effects

Lipozene side effects

The potential side effects of using Lipozene are common to many weight loss supplements.

These can include nausea, diarrhea or constipation, and stomach discomfort ranging from mild to severe.

However, the most dangerous side effect of Lipozene if taken incorrectly is the potential for it to expand outside of the stomach, which could cause a blockage in the digestive system.

Does Lipozene Work?

Lipozene how does it work

There is some evidence that the active ingredient glucomannan can have positive dietary effects, especially in relieving bowel problems.

But there is still ongoing research, and no detailed research results as yet, that suggest it is a weight loss “magic bullet”.

The bottom line is that as it stands at the moment, there is little proof that Lipozene weight loss pills have a huge effect on positive a dieting outcome if used on their own.

In fact, the same active ingredient has been used in several other weight loss pills and diet supplements, again with little evidence of safe and positive effects.

Lipozene Reviews

Lipozene reviews

With no solid evidence that the product can affect losing weight to any great degree, it’s unsurprising that reviews from people who have used Lipozene are mixed.

For example, on Amazon you can find comments such as:

“Haven’t noticed anything yet 3 weeks so far no weight loss.”

“I tried it for a week no results. Plus I got sever headache and the pills made me nauseated…”

“I used this product for 60 days. It didn’t work.”

With such mixed use of reviews of Lipozene, the evidence seems to suggest that you should not just dive in and buy it without some further research.

The Pros & Cons Of Using Lipozene

I guess the main pro of using Lipozene is that if money is not a problem, then you have nothing to lose as long as you use the product safely.

However, with the main Lipozene ingredient being unproven as beneficial, and with side-effects being potentially serious, I think it’s safe to say that you should tread carefully.

So when it comes to the pros and cons of using Lipozene, or any dietary supplement, it pays to get educated.

There are a lot of diet pill scams out there, and so you should always do some research.

Where To Buy Lipozene?

Lipozene Official Website

You can purchase Lipozene from many major online retailers, four example Amazon and eBay.

But if you’re thinking about where to buy Lipozene then the best advice is to tread carefully.

Just as with most products, there are copies and scams out there.

So buying Lipozene from a major retailer where there are plenty of customers who can leave independent reviews will certainly help you to stay safe and get the best price.

Is Lipozene A Scam?

Lipozene scam

Any product which makes grand claims about its potential to lose you weight quickly and safely should be treated with skepticism.

There are certainly products out there which can help with weight loss, and you should look into each one individually and try to get independent advice.

So when it comes to asking if Lipozene is a scam, is probably best to look at the active ingredient glucomannan and it’s history in other fiber-based weight loss supplements.

The truth is that there are several related products that also contain that active ingredient which have been previously banned by the FTC.

It was not necessarily the case that it was the active ingredient glucommanan that was the issue, but more that the claims being made about its ability to help you lose weight were hugely exaggerated.

So Lipozene may not be a scam, but it’s certainly doesn’t look like it’s a weight loss miracle product, and it’s probably best to keep an open mind if you intend to buy it.

Lipozene Review: Final Verdict

Lipozene review: final verdict

Weighing up all the evidence around using Lipozene, I think the overall conclusion has to be that it is not a product that you can safely and reliably use to help you lose weight.

It has a history in banned products, and its active ingredient shows little scientific evidence of being good for losing weight, despite it having been used by people as a domestic remedy for centuries.

Yes it probably will be the case that in the short term using Lipozene may have some positive effect, as your stomach will be fuller and you will not be able to eat as much.

But it’s not that you will have done anything positive mentally to eat less food, it’s that you have forced yourself to do so.

As soon as you stop taking the supplement, the chances are that you will become eager to eat very quickly and may pile that weight straight back on, especially if taking any sort of diet pill is not backed up by a positive physical workout regime.

I am a 79-year-old male trying to lose just 10 pounds, I bought the two bottle pack at Walmart. I’m not a gullible person so I checked out the studies found through Goole Scholar and found this site, among others. Bottom line, I’m returning it for a refund and will not recommend it to my children as I intended.

I had a hysterectomy this year and I found out without my hormones I will gain weight. As the months went by and the doctor visits and gaining weight I was getting upset. So, I went shopping at Walmart and saw the Lipozene display and thought to myself lets try this. So I did. I went to the doctor office and found out I lost 9 pounds. My doctor told me it is hard to lose weight after a hysterectomy. So I bought a bigger bottle and hope I keep losing. Just thought I let you know this product does work. Plus eating right too.

I purchased one bottle of this product years ago and was supposed to get a free bottle with it. The bottle I got worked well, but I called about the free bottle and was told I would get it if I signed for a subscdiption. That sounded a little untrustworthy to me and I had to call my bank to stop a subscription that I did not request. None of this made sense to me. Do not trust them.

I bought Lipozene. Took it for two months and did not lose any significant weight.

Very disappointed in the results and product. I feel that I was scammed. The claims made by the manufacturer are false.

Shame on the manufacturer and anyone that endorsed this product because they have to know that this is just another way of bilking the unsuspecting public out of their hard earned money.

    Very disappointed.

I purchased Lipozene on May 27,2020 for the $29.95 + insurance and tax for a total of $34.25. When I received it I also got a notice that I still owed $30.04 that would be taken from my card on July 11. When I got my bank statement I found they had taken $74.11. The total now is $89.90. I am reporting them to my attorney.
